Circuit de Catalunya

The Circuit de Catalunya becomes the best scenario for all lovers of the sport of cycling. Whether amateur or professional level, the Circuit track opens to bicycle training. This has been possible thanks to an agreement between the Circuit de Catalunya and the Catalan Cycling Federation.

Prices
The price is 5€ for one day training. It is also available a cheaper monthly payment that includes eight training sessions for only 25€.

Regulations
The track will be opened from 17.30 to 21.00 (from November to February) and from 18.30 to 22.00 (from March to October) on Tuesdays and Thursdays, except for some weeks due to incompatibility with the normal track activity.
Access by car: West Gate. Parking: Paddock zone.
Shower facilities available to all cyclists.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011)

 American science fiction action film based on theTransformers toy line. First released on June 23, 2011, it is the third installment of the live-actionTransformers film series. Like its predecessors, Transformers and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,Transformers: Dark of the Moon is directed by Michael Bay and produced by Steven Spielberg. The film's story is set three years after the events of the second film, with the Autobots, during their collaboration with the NEST (Networked Elements: Supporters and Transformers) military force, discovering a hidden alien technology in possession of humans, which had been found by Apollo 11 on the Moon 42 years prior. However, the Decepticons unveil a plan to use the technology to enslave humanity in order to bring backCybertron, the home planet of the Transformers.
Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, and John Turturro reprised their starring roles, with Peter Cullen and Hugo Weaving returning as the voices of Optimus Prime and Megatron, and Kevin Dunn and Julie White reprising their roles as the parents of the protagonist, Sam Witwicky. English model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley replaced Megan Fox as the lead female character; the cast also saw the additions of Patrick Dempsey, John Malkovich, Ken Jeong, and Frances McDormand. The film also welcomed Keith Szarabajka, Ron Bottitta, John DiMaggio, George Coe, Francesco Quinn, James Remar, Greg Berg, and veteran science-fiction actor Leonard Nimoy to the voice cast. The script was written by Ehren Kruger, who also collaborated on the narrative of the second film of the series. Dark of the Moon employed both regular35mm film cameras and specially-developed 3-D cameras, with filming locations in Chicago, Florida, Indiana,Moscow, and Washington, D.C.. The film was rendered specifically for 3-D, and the visual effects involved more complex robots which took longer to render.
In May 2011, it was announced that Paramount Pictures would move Transformers: Dark of the Moon's release date of July 1 to June 29 in order to monitor an early response to footage. Exclusive early premieres in select 3-D and IMAX theaters took place June 28, 2011, one night before worldwide release in 2-D and 3-D (including IMAX 3D) formats—each featuring Dolby Surround 7.1 sound.
Critical reception of the film was mixed to negative, with several critics calling it better than Revenge of the Fallen and praising the film's visuals and 3-D action sequences, but criticizing its writing, acting, and length.Dark of the Moon grossed US$1.12 billion worldwide, and is currently the fifth-highest-grossing film of all time, the second-highest-grossing film of 2011 (behind Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2), the highest-grossing film in the Transformers series, and the tenth film to gross over $1 billion. Like the first film, it was nominated for Best Visual Effects, Best Sound Editing and Best Sound Mixing at the 84th Academy Awards. A sequel to the film, directed once again by Michael Bay, is scheduled for release in June 2014.^[7][8]

Spanish one-two with Jorge Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa

MotoGP Race

Keeping one close eye on the sky and the other eye on the ground, teams had rain forecasts for the race. However, they all proved wrong and the race was held in the dry, with asphalt temperatures topping 33ºC and ambient temperatures of 27ºC.

Dani Pedrosa made a shooting start and conquered the lead, with Ben Spies and Jorge Lorenzo (both on Yamaha) behind. Casey Stoner was fifth, chasing Andrea Dovizioso. Shortly before completing lap 3, Spies fell and the fight for the lead became an all-Spanish affair, to the delight of the local crowd.

With a similar pace, both riders kept Dovizioso and Crutchlow under control, with Stoner increasingly aggressive further down. Lorenzo disposed of Pedrosa as he braked before turn 1 in lap 7, leaving the Catalan rider to defend his position to Dovizioso’s attacks.

Valentino Rossi made up ground by the meter and disposed of Stefan Bradl for 7th place. Bautista was still ahead of him, and Casey Stoner slotted into 4th place ahead of Cal Crutchlow.

By lap 10, things remained unchanged: Lorenzo, Pedrosa and Dovizioso lapping in the same second, and Stoner, Crutchlow, Bautista, Rossi and Bradl further back. Pedrosa skilfully used the slipstream to pass Lorenzo in lap 12 at the end of the pits straight, and they both pulled away from their rivals -even though Lorenzo made a really long line in one turn that drove him away from Dani and allowed Dovizioso to contact him.

Yamaha’s rider found a new pace and slowly eroded Pedrosa’s lead. Pedrosa and Lorenzo seemed the only candidates for victory, and a good local battle was expected for the final laps. With 7 laps to go, the gap between them was less than 3 tenths of a second. Lorenzo pushed turn after turn, braking hard in each corner, until he managed to overtake Pedrosa entering the stadium area in lap 20. From there, he stormed to victory.

The World Championship leader won in dominant fashion and now boasts a comfortable advantage in the standings. Pedrosa collected second place after lapping unchallenged in the final part of the race, and Dovizioso deftly stood up to Stoner, who will not stand on podium for the first time this season.

Jorge Lorenzo: “Winning in front of this amazing crowd is just fantastic. I was taking things a little bit easy at the beginning, because Dani was pushing very hard. It’s been a tough race, and we can’t afford to make mistakes. When I contacted him, we were riding very close, it was easy to touch and I made a point of finding some space. After overtaking him for the second time, I was relentless. The team worked smoothly and, as you can see, the bike is really competitive this year”.

Dani Pedrosa: “It was a good day for the locals. I started well and passed Jorge twice, but at the end I suffered a bit and did not make it to the top of the podium”.
